2023 Engineer's week

My graduate student, Erfan, was showing K-12 students about turbulent mixing in a small tank using a lower-power laser and a high-speed camera. Our lab presented this demon to over 10 groups of K-12 students. 

2022 Missouri Section AWWA & MWEA Annual Joint Conference 

The Mizzou WET student chapter (Water & Environmental Technologists) attended 2022 AWWA&MWEA joint conference in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. Elli Castonguay presented her work as a poster presentation.

MIZZOU ENGINEER'S WEEKOur lab presented the society impacts of our oil droplet studies in the 2019 Mizzou Engineer’s week. We also demonstrated our in-house development about how to use engineering applications to understand sciences.


MoWRRC Seminar Series 

The Missouri Water Resources Research Center seminar series is hosted by the CEE department at Mizzou. The seminars are to provide educational opportunities for students in the water resources areas, and to communicate sciences to the public. 

Freshwater mussel symposium

A mini-symposium about sediment impacts on freshwater mussels were organized to communicate the state of science, and share best practices and management strategies in protecting freshwater mussels. The recording of all presentations can be found here
